Launch of Cheshire East Dog Parents

Myself and a collegue have this week launched a new facebook group ‘Cheshire East Dog Parents’ with the aim of bringing the local dog owning community together to support healthy, happy relationships with our four legged friends.

Over the summer we are holding ‘Fun drop in’ events, located at South Park on Sundays 10.30am-12.30pm. We would love for you to come along to join in with fun activities with your dogs, an opportunity for you to interact with your doggy, for your dog to experience new activities, to socialise with other dogs, and to get inspired about kind ways to stinulate and work with your dog 🙂

Our first event today was so much fun!! Lots of wags and smiles all round, we can’t wait for next week!! The feedback we got was so positive and appreciative, it really was a lovely morning, thank you everyone!! 🙂

Slippery brick – keep doggies hydrated and cool

My dogs love these ice bricks with tasty treats in.

Really easy to do, and makes great use of your bits of scraps, preserved in the freezer for a sunny day!

Chop up your treats and chuck into a margerine or ice cream tub, fill with water, pop in the freezer.

You can put anything in there, they can eat them outside when the weather’s nice, so you don’t need to worry about mess, I’m sure it will all get hoovered up anyway!

Tuna, chicken, cheese, sausage, yogurt, fruit, peanut butter… By using different foods they freeze throughout the block because they sink or float 🙂
